"Ngano man nga sila ma'y nag-suffer?"
This question keeps on bugging me on our way home from church. From church, we were stranded in BQ for the rain poured out heavily. Because it's already past 12, my Samantha complained that she's hungry already so we decided to eat @ Pizza Hut. While we were eating, we were very disturbed by those street children (probably mga badjaos & uban pa'ng mga bata nga nagpalimos) who keep on sneaking us through the glass wall of Pizza Hut. Using hand signal, they ask for something (food or money maybe) because they're hungry. Nagkabulingit nga mga bata, wala'y panty/short, wala'y sinelas, halos mga baby pa na'ng uban nga gidala-dala og bata pa pud...hayyy, mura'g nagdugo akong kasing-kasing nagtan-aw ba. Diha pa'y usa, a little boy, niakwit sa tricycle kay nangayo'g kwarta siguro to sa pasahero unya'g niambak dapit sa Mcdo...Why are they forsaken, I sometimes asked. Where are their parents? Nganong gipasagdan man tawon sila'ng mga bata nga mag-suffer sa kalisod at their very young age of which they are supposed to enjoy the stress-free world of being child.
