LONDON - Mildred Baena, the housekeeper who had a child by Arnold Schwarzenegger, broke her silence Tuesday, telling Hello! magazine said she had admitted the affair to Maria Shriver, who had asked her "point blank" about her son's parentage.
Speaking to Hello! Magazine, Baena claimed that Shriver had hugged her and forgiven her, telling Baena that she was not at fault.

"She was so strong," Baena told the magazine. She [Shriver] cried with me and told me to get off my knees. We held each other and I told her it wasn't Arnie's fault. It takes two," Baena told the magazine.
Baena, photographed for the paper with her thirteen-year old son for the first time, said that Shriver had hinted that she suspected something for a while.
"She would say things like 'I'm here if you need to talk.' I sensed something was up. I have so much love and respect for Maria."

The Guatemala-born housekeeper who had worked with the former Governor's family for years, said her son had been told of his parentage a year ago.
She also expressed sympathy for Schwarzenegger and the effect the bombshell revelations had had on his marriage and family.
"He's a good man and I know he is suffering too," Baena told Hello!. "He loves Maria. I hope in time they work things out."
Schwarzenegger and Shriver announced their separation in May after 25 years of marriage. Shriver recently moved out of their Brentwood home.
"We are continuing to parent our four children together," they said in a statement. "They are the light and the center of both of our lives. We consider this a private matter and neither we nor any of our friends or family will have further comment. We ask for compassion and respect from the media and the public."
Since leaving office, Schwarzenegger has signed on to star in the drama Cry Macho. His reps at CAA also are shopping a package for a new Terminator sequel. In addition, he has partnered with Stan Lee on a Governator comic and animated series, with plans for a movie as well.
Shriver runs a women's empowerment website and served as a guest editor on an issue of Oprah Winfrey's magazine, O.
